10 awesome beaches in California
Bahia Honda State Park Beaches

The sandy shores of Bahia Honda State Park are, hands down, the best beaches in the Florida Keys. These natural beaches are absolutely stunning. Of the park's three beaches, the most spectacular is Sandspur Beach. This 2.5 mile long stretch of natural sand has shallow waters and stretches an incredible distance into the ocean. At low tide, sand islands would appear and you could have your own desert island experience.

Two other beaches are worth a visit, Loggerhead and Calusa. Of the two, Calusa Beach is the more famous and the one you frequently see in the foreground of photographs of the historic Old Seven Mile Bridge. The water here is shallow and the beach is located in a pleasant cove.

Loggerhead Beach is much larger and has a beautiful sandy bottom that stretches far out into the ocean. It's a great place to wade and laze around. The best time to visit is at low tide, when the water recedes and the beach expands considerably. The view from the beach is spectacular, with stunning views of the horizon.
