Monuriki Island

​Monuriki Island is a small island in the southern Pacific Ocean. It is only 1 km long and 600 m wide. One of the three brothers of the Mamanuka group. The island is surrounded by coral reefs, a small area is valuable by protected plant species, rare species of iguanas. The volcanic island is chosen by sea turtles, terrestrial and migratory birds.
